Spyder

where all the love goes, in frames, pages and brushstrokes.

About

Welcome to Spyder — where all the love goes.
A space for conversation, curiosity, and creation.

Spyder is a place for reflection and exchange — a space to learn, to think, and to engage with everything that shapes how we see the world. From art and literature to politics, film, and personal experience, Spyder explores ideas across all forms of media and culture.

I’m Deb, founder and lead editor of Spyder, and I want you to remember the power of words: how it feels to read something that moves you, or to write something that matters. Each week, Spyder shares brilliant writing and celebrates emerging voices, alongside some of my own work.

Every month, you’ll find a new prompt for submissions — an open invitation to join the conversation and share your own work.

We also feature the Artist Hub, where we talk to authors, filmmakers, and other creators — giving insight into their craft, their process, and the ideas that drive their work. It’s a place to learn, be inspired, and connect with the creative community.

All reading on Spyder is completely free; this space runs on love, passion, and the belief that more people can rediscover joy in art.

If you’d like to support Spyder, donations are deeply appreciated. They help sustain the community and create more opportunities for writers and readers alike. If you’re interested find our donations page here
